This course gives an understanding of bitcoin, cryptocurrency, the cryptocurrency marketplace and Blockchain from the legal perspective such that lawyers can begin down the specialization path. Learners will develop an understandings of the advantages and disadvantages of cryptocurrency and Blockchain. Attendees don’t have to have any blockchain or crypto knowledge. However, understanding Bitcoin and blockchain technology is highly valuable. Course attendees will learn how to gain insight into cryptocurrencies and Blockchain and understand how they are used and misused. Also, the current legal environment is presented.
